Powered by People, Driven by Creativity

At Moments in Motion, we believe creativity thrives in community.
Our mission is to bring like-minded creatives together to shoot, connect, and grow through fun experiences.

What began as a casual Threads post has grown into a vibrant, creative community. Currently, we organise monthly photowalks that bring people together to capture the beauty within each other, set against stunning London backdrops and a variety of themes and locations.

It’s about more than creating great visuals; it’s about sharing space, uplifting one another, and turning everyday streets into creative playgrounds. At Moments in Motion, it’s all about good energy, your unique perspective, and a community that supports you. From our first photo walk with just four people, we’ve expanded into a community of over 100 creatives, with individuals travelling from Oxford, Cambridge, Reading, Luton, and Norwich.

Our vision is to help creatives in London connect, achieve their dreams, and build a strong network. We aim to be the go-to space for finding the best creative teams, sharing advice, and offering comfort and support, all while organising educational workshops and inspiring trips abroad to grow and create together.

Meet the Team

    Kaya Dawkins

    FOUNDER & CREATIVE LEAD

The heart behind Moments in Motion. From planning every walk to connecting with new creatives, this has grown into something more meaningful than I ever imagined.

For me, it’s always been about more than photos — it’s about the energy we share, the people we meet, and the growth that happens when we create together.

    Filip Szczepaniak

    RIGHT HAND & ALL-ROUND SUPPORT

From the first walk to the latest shoot, he’s been there helping behind the scenes with everything — managing logistics, offering creative direction, and providing the calm presence that holds it all together. Whether it’s troubleshooting last-minute challenges or bringing fresh ideas to the table, he quietly ensures every moment runs smoothly.

    Rob Forest

    STREET PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY LEADER

Rob brings more than just camera gear, he brings perspective. With an eye for capturing real moments as they are, his street photography style is raw, honest, and full of life. He’s full of creative ideas and knows how to make people feel at ease. Whether he's behind the camera or hosting a photowalk, he helps shape the vibe of every session.

    Tyler Oliver

    THE OG

He’s been here since day one! Tyler has attended every single photowalk, bringing consistency, style, and creative energy. Tyler’s someone who just gets it. He truly embodies what this community is all about. Plus, with his great dance moves and always bringing the music, he keeps the vibe alive every time.

Creativity doesn’t happen alone. It flourishes when we connect, support, and grow side by side.
